A Wireless ISP (also called a WISP) is a company that gives you internet without using cables in the ground. Instead, they use antennas to send the internet through the air, kind of like how your phone connects to Wi-Fi.

We put antennas on tall places like towers or rooftops, and your home gets a small antenna too. These antennas “talk” to each other so you can go online to watch videos, play games, or do homework—without needing wires running to your house!

Why This Message Shows Up

When you connect to our Wi-Fi, your phone might show a message that says something like:

“Privacy Warning – This network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic.”

That sounds scary, but here’s what it really means:

Your phone is just saying that the Wi-Fi can see what websites you’re visiting.

It doesn’t mean anything bad is happening—it just means the Wi-Fi is working like a normal network and your phone wants you to know.

Are you being watched?

No one is spying on you, and your private information (like passwords or messages) is still safe if you’re on secure websites (the ones that start with https://).

Why does this happen?

Some phones and devices like to hide where you go on the internet (that’s called “encrypted DNS”). But our network doesn’t support that feature right now, so the phone is just letting you know.

Should you worry?

Nope! Everything is still working fine, and you can safely use the internet as usual.

The ‘username’ field on the account portal sign-in page is the full email address that we use to correspond with you.

If you’ve never been able to register, or forgot the password you once created for your account portal- the ‘Forgot your password?‘ link will allow you to reset and gain access by following its prompts

Here are some troubleshooting tips if the Internet is not working.

• Are both the POE brick and your WiFi router powered on?
• Have you tried restarting (power cycling) the antenna and/or devices?
• Are you discovering from afar that your devices are not connected?
• Could the power be out at your property (thus, your service antenna and WiFi router not powered on)? Consider checking the Sevier County Electric Outage Map
