Network Management Practices

Effective Date: July 28, 2026 · Last Updated: July 30, 2026

Wifi Squared, LLC provides this Network Management Practices disclosure to explain how we manage our broadband internet networks.

This policy applies to Wifi Squared fixed-wireless, fiber, and mobile LTE internet services, except where a particular practice is identified as applying only to a specific service type or network.

Wifi Squared seeks to operate its networks in a reasonable and nondiscriminatory manner while protecting customers, network infrastructure, and the reliability and security of our services.

1. Blocking

Wifi Squared does not block lawful internet content, applications, services, or non-harmful devices, subject to reasonable network management.

Wifi Squared may block or restrict traffic when reasonably necessary to:

When technically and operationally reasonable, Wifi Squared may first limit or restrict harmful or abusive traffic before blocking it entirely.

Wifi Squared does not block ordinary customer communications based on their viewpoints, subject matter, or the identity of the person or organization providing the content.

Restrictions for Nonpayment

When an account has an overdue balance of $150 or more, the account's internet service may be restricted to approximately 0.5 Mbps download and 0.5 Mbps upload until the restriction is removed.

An eligible customer may postpone the restriction for one 24-hour period by logging into the customer portal and selecting Postpone Suspension. This provides the customer with additional time to make a payment or contact Wifi Squared.

A Wifi Squared employee may also delay or override the restriction when an approved payment arrangement has been established.

If an account remains suspended or restricted for more than one month, internet access may be blocked until payment is received or an approved payment arrangement is established.

Restrictions imposed for nonpayment are account-management actions. They are not based on the content, source, destination, or type of internet traffic.

2. Throttling

Wifi Squared does not throttle lawful internet traffic based on the traffic's content, application, service, destination, source, or the identity of the content provider.

Wifi Squared may temporarily limit, restrict, or block traffic that appears to be associated with:

Any such action is intended to address harmful, illegal, or abusive activity. It is not intended to favor one lawful website, application, service, or content provider over another.

Wifi Squared also configures customer connections according to the maximum speeds included with each customer's selected service plan. These plan-based speed settings are part of delivering the subscribed service and are not application-specific throttling.

3. Paid Prioritization

Wifi Squared does not engage in paid prioritization.

Wifi Squared does not accept payment or other consideration from content providers, applications, websites, or online services in exchange for:

Wifi Squared does not prioritize affiliated content or services in exchange for payment or other consideration.

4. Affiliated and Sponsored Services

Wifi Squared does not currently offer affiliated content, applications, or sponsored-data arrangements that receive preferential treatment over other lawful internet traffic.

This does not prevent Wifi Squared from providing separately contracted managed-network, private-network, voice, business, or enterprise services that are distinct from public broadband internet access, provided those services do not materially harm the capacity or performance of customers' broadband internet access service.

5. Congestion Management

Wifi Squared designs, monitors, and expands its network to provide reliable service to its customers. However, available network capacity is shared among customers using a particular tower, access point, sector, backhaul connection, upstream connection, or other network resource.

During periods of increased demand, customers may experience naturally reduced speeds, increased latency, or other temporary performance changes because of the available network throughput.

Wifi Squared does not currently impose a separate congestion-based throttling policy that intentionally reduces selected customers' speeds during busy periods. Customers may nevertheless experience lower performance when aggregate demand temporarily exceeds the capacity available within a particular portion of the network.

Wifi Squared does not manage congestion based on:

Wifi Squared may address recurring congestion through reasonable operational measures, including:

Plan-Based Traffic Shaping

Wifi Squared uses Preseem to shape individual fixed-wireless and Tarana customer connections according to the speed included with each customer's subscribed service plan.

For example, a customer subscribed to a plan offering a particular maximum download and upload speed may have the connection technically configured not to exceed those plan rates.

This plan-based traffic shaping:

Business customers and customers with upgraded residential service do not receive packet-level or application-level priority over other customers.

6. Application-Specific Behavior

Wifi Squared does not intentionally block, throttle, impair, favor, or modify lawful traffic from particular applications or categories of applications.

This includes lawful use of:

Wifi Squared may restrict a particular application, device, connection, or traffic pattern when it is reasonably believed to be generating malicious, illegal, harmful, or abusive traffic or creating a security threat.

Any such restriction is based on the harmful or abusive activity involved rather than ordinary lawful use of the application.

Wifi Squared may also use technical measures to prevent or mitigate:

7. Device-Attachment Rules

Customers may connect lawful, non-harmful devices to their Wifi Squared service, provided those devices:

Wifi Squared may require certain company-provided or company-approved equipment when necessary to deliver, authenticate, monitor, secure, troubleshoot, or support the service.

Company-owned outdoor radios, antennas, fiber equipment, optical-network terminals, LTE gateways, routers, power supplies, and other installed equipment may not be modified, relocated, replaced, resold, disconnected, or reconfigured without Wifi Squared's permission.

Customers may connect their own compatible router or internal networking equipment behind Wifi Squared's service equipment.

When technically supported, a Wifi Squared-managed router may also be bridged or bypassed so the customer can use compatible customer-owned routing equipment.

Customers using their own routers or networking equipment are responsible for:

Wifi Squared's ability to troubleshoot customer-owned equipment may be limited. Wifi Squared may require temporary reconnection of company-managed equipment when necessary to test or diagnose the service.

Wifi Squared may refuse or disconnect a device that harms the network, causes interference, creates a security risk, violates applicable law, or prevents the service from operating properly.

8. Customer-Operated Servers, IP Addresses, and Port Access

Customers may operate lawful public-facing servers and hosted services through their Wifi Squared connection, subject to:

Some Wifi Squared customers receive service through carrier-grade network address translation, commonly called CGNAT, while others may receive a publicly routable IPv4 address. The configuration used depends on the customer's location, network, service type, and available address resources.

CGNAT may prevent or limit unsolicited inbound internet connections, traditional port forwarding, and some forms of public server hosting.

Where technically available, up to one static IPv4 address may be assigned to a customer. Static IPv4 address availability is not guaranteed at every location or on every service type.

Customers who require additional public IPv4 addresses may purchase additional IPv4 address blocks for an additional monthly fee, subject to technical feasibility and address availability.

Permission to operate a server does not guarantee that every customer connection will technically support direct inbound access. Customers who require inbound connectivity, port forwarding, a static IPv4 address, or an additional IPv4 block should contact Wifi Squared to determine which options are available at their location.

Customers are responsible for properly configuring and securing any publicly accessible server, device, or service.

9. Security Practices

Wifi Squared uses reasonable network-management and security practices to protect customers and network infrastructure.

These practices may include:

Wifi Squared monitors network metadata and operational statistics necessary to install, operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve its services.

This information may include:

Wifi Squared does not use deep-packet inspection to examine the contents of ordinary customer communications.

This means Wifi Squared does not ordinarily inspect the substance of customer emails, messages, files, webpage content, calls, or other communications as part of its standard network-monitoring practices.

Additional information about personal information and data practices is available in the Wifi Squared Privacy Policy: https://wifisquared.com/privacy

Wifi Squared does not sell customers' personal information, mobile numbers, or internet-usage data.

10. Network Performance

Wifi Squared offers fixed-wireless, fiber, and mobile LTE broadband services. Actual performance may vary based on:

Advertised speeds are maximum or "up to" speeds and are not guaranteed at all times.

Wifi Squared's plan-specific prices, speeds, data allowances, typical performance information, and other consumer disclosures are provided through its broadband consumer labels and service-plan materials.

11. Data Allowances

Wifi Squared does not currently impose a fixed monthly data cap on its:

Customers are not charged usage-based overage fees by Wifi Squared for exceeding a monthly data allowance.

Although Wifi Squared services do not have fixed monthly data caps, malicious, illegal, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activity may still be restricted under this policy and Wifi Squared's Terms of Service.

The absence of a monthly data cap does not guarantee that maximum advertised speeds will be available continuously. Actual performance remains subject to the customer's service plan, available network capacity, signal conditions, upstream networks, and other technical factors.

12. Business Services and Priority Support

Wifi Squared serves residential and business customers.

Business plans may include:

Certain upgraded residential plans may also include priority-support benefits.

Priority support, repair, or restoration treatment does not mean that the customer's ordinary public-internet traffic receives packet-level, application-level, or network-level priority over traffic from other customers.

Wifi Squared does not currently give business customers or upgraded residential customers technical network priority based solely on their account classification.

Any future service that includes technical traffic priority will be accurately disclosed in the applicable service agreement and in this Network Management Practices disclosure when required.

13. Changes to These Practices

Wifi Squared may update these Network Management Practices as its services, technology, security requirements, business practices, or legal obligations change.

Material changes will be posted on this page. The effective date and last-updated date shown at the top of the page identify the current version.

Customers should periodically review this page for updates.
